Acclimatization of underlays

When you’re installing an underlay, make sure that the product is properly acclimatised. When installing a Floorfixx Smart System underlay, for example, we recommend that you acclimatise the product for 48-72 hours. Placing it horizontally in the closed packaging in the space where it will be installed. Humidity should be between 50 – 70% and the ideal processing temperature is between 15 – 20°C.

This prevents expansion or contraction of the material.
