Case study: Hotel Maria Cristina
At Hotel Maria Cristina (San Sebastián), a premium Axminster carpet had to stay looking taut and pristine over the long term, without any risks in a double-stick installation. Estillon supported Imperial Carpets with Duralay Technics 5 (5 mm): a stable, proven underlay for double-stick systems, supporting long-term performance, acoustic comfort and the required fire classification, acoustic comfort and fire classification (EN 13501-1: Bfl-s1). Case study: Renovation attic floor
For the renovation of the attic floor with an uneven surface, the Floorfixx optimum 8 mm system floor was used. Quick to install without glue or drying time. The dry underfloor system helps level out irregularities, reduces noise and provides a stable base for LVT.
Case study: Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)
Estillon supplied almost 24,000 m² of Oceanbase Contract FR 6 mm underlay for the Norwegian Viva cruise ship. This IMO-certified, lightweight underlay offers fire safety, durability and luxurious comfort, with minimal impact on fuel costs.
