Floor profiles help you bridge height differences and transitions between two floor types or spaces in a reliable way. Think of the transition from the living room to the kitchen, or between LVT and carpet. They keep the floor strong in daily use and ensure different materials meet cleanly, making the installation both technically correct and visually appealing. At the same time, you prevent tension on material edges: each floor section can settle naturally without pulling, tearing or lifting.

Carpet edge trim
A carpet edge trim provides a clean and strong finish for carpet along open sides. It prevents fraying and protects the cut edge in areas with heavy foot or wheel traffic. You use it along doors, frames and other exposed carpet edges. This keeps the floor technically sound and durably finished.
Seam cover strip
A seam cover strip finishes the transition between two pieces of carpet or level floor sections. It prevents visible seams and keeps the floor visually calm. This profile is ideal for renovations or when two parts need to align neatly. It protects the seam and increases the durability of the floor.
Stair nose profiles
Stair nose profiles protect the front of stair treads and improve grip on the stairs. They prevent wear on the tread edge and create a clear, safe finish. Suitable for various materials such as wood, LVT and carpet. Especially in high-traffic environments, stair noses keep the stairs looking good and safe for longer.
Varistrip
A varistrip is a flexible profile for transitioning between two floor materials with small height differences or tolerances. Useful when LVT and carpet are not perfectly level or when you want a subtle, durable connection. The varistrip clamps both materials securely, keeping the transition stable.
Transition profiles
Transition profiles connect two floors that are at equal or nearly equal height. They cover cut edges and prevent gaps or raised edges. You use them between rooms or when transitioning from soft to hard flooring. The result is a clean, safe and consistent finish.
You choose profiles primarily to make a transition technically correct and durable. But appearance matters too. That’s why our profiles are available in modern, timeless finishes such as brushed nickel, matte gold, polished gold, polished silver and matte silver. This way, the finishing aligns perfectly not only with the floor, but also with the surrounding interior.
Practical tips for a professional installation
A good profile starts with the right choice – but especially with skilled installation. With these points of attention, you get the most out of the finishing:
- Always measure the actual height difference. Small variations in levelling or subfloor determine which profile fits technically.
- Consider the walking line and sight lines in the room. A profile should align logically from the entrance, hallway or stairs to avoid a skewed perspective.
- Never install under tension. The profile must lie relaxed; pressure or force can cause gaps or detachment.
- Always leave enough space for working floors. LVT, laminate and wood must be able to expand and settle without obstruction.
- Always protect or clamp carpet edges. This prevents fraying and keeps the connection strong and neat.
- Check the transition for rolling resistance. Chairs, carts and suitcases should barely feel the transition for optimal user comfort.
- Cut and trim carefully. Use a fine-toothed blade and deburr the edges for a clean, durable finish.
