Oceanbase Contract FR 6 mm

Specialist IMO underlay for safety at sea

Oceanbase Contract FR was installed on the Norwegian Viva Cruise Ship. This underlay was bonded to the subfloor and a luxurious carpet was installed on top.

“Our customer already had extensive experience with the Oceanbase Contract FR 6 mm. Due to the good experience in the past, choosing the underlay was not a difficult choice,” says Margret Albers of
Estillon. This underlay has an IMO certification and meets all the correct certificates. In addition, Oceanbase Contract FR is produced from high-quality recycled polyurethane foam. This
lightweight polyurethane foam guarantees a stable and durable installation and increases the luxury and comfort of the carpet.

At only 13,7kg per roll, it is easy to distribute around the ship. The IMO certified underlays from Estillon are designed to be as lightweight as possible to minimize fuel costs.”
