Estillon chooses green
Estillon wants to be an example in Corporate Social Responsibility. We do everything we can to achieve the climate goals we have set. It is important to reduce our CO2 emissions. We have been very focused on this in recent years and with good results.
We want to compensate for the Co2 emissions that we cannot (yet) avoid in a sustainable and impactful way.
The campaign “Estillon plants trees to compensate C02 emission” has ended.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in this campaign! Together, we have ensured that a nice number of new trees will be planted.
Part of the trees will be planted in the Netherlands. Trees for All plants as many different indigenous tree species as possible. This diversity is important for a healthy and climate-resistant forest.
The other part of the trees will be planted in Madagascar. Madagascar’s ecosystem is the most threatened in the world. Many trees, plants and animals have been lost due to deforestation and climate change. For the population, this leads to drought, crop failure and water shortages. By planting new trees, they restore the habitats of plants and animals and give the population new prospects.
We are happy and proud that we can contribute to these wonderful projects.

The actual planting locations and the time of planting are determined by Trees for All. Trees for All guarantees the planting of trees within one year after receiving the donation from Estillon. For the planting of trees the foundation depends on the planting season. In the Netherlands, planting takes place between November and March.
