The name says it all, Floorfixx COMFORT. The comfortable underlay for underfloor heating. Why? It can be perfectly combined with underfloor heating on almost all floor coverings. Both hard floors and soft floors.
Low heat resistance = more efficiency
Because the Floorfixx comfort underlay has a low heat resistance (R-value)*, it is very suitable for both underfloor heating and floor cooling. The lower this R-value, the higher the return. The room is warm in winter and cool in summer.
The R-value is the thermal resistance of a material layer and is expressed in m 2 K/W. The smaller the R, the lower the resistance experienced by the heat transfer and the better the material transmits the heat.
The calculation of the R-value depends on the materials that make up the structure to be examined. The material thickness, in meters, is divided by the λ value (the coefficient of thermal conductivity).
The R-value can always be found on the packaging and/or insert of the (sub)floor.
You can calculate the combinations yourself by adding up the heat resistances (R-values) of any screed, subfloor and floor covering. If combinations exceed the applicability value, we advise you to contact the installer of the underfloor heating.
Total applicability value for main heating: (0.13 m2 K/W)
Total applicability value with additional heating: (0.17 m2 K/W)
Total applicability value with heat pump: (0.09 m2 K/W)
Floorfixx comfort 10 mm: 120 x 60 cm (2,88 m²)

Description
Floorfixx comfort is a system floor which, with the aid of the sandwich system and the interactive adhesive, quickly and easily creates a new, insulating, level and directly loadable subfloor. Suitable for heavier project use and in combination with underfloor heating.
- Renovation of poor basic floors for linoleum, elastic vinyl, PVC, carpet, carpet tiles and parquet flooring, with a minimum thickness of 2 mm
- No waiting / drying times and directly taxable
- Evens out unevenness and ensures maximum stability
- Insulates impact noise
- Has been developed for use in projects where higher demands are made on quality due to heavy traffic
- Suitable for underfloor heating and floor cooling due to its low thermal resistance
- For application of parquet flooring. This type of parquet is glued to Floorfixx comfort without any problems using glue
